Hello loves! So last Thursday (26 August 2013), I was invited to theSkintopic's First Anniversary event in Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur. Thank you The Butterfly Project for the invite!
The even started about 2pm and once I arrive there, I immediately registered myself and was given a goodie bag. Keep reading to know what's in the goodie bag! :)
If I'm not mistaken, the purple flowers are known as lavenders whereas the other ones are dried roses. So what are these dried flowers doing in theSkintopic's First Anniversary event?
There'll be a live demo on how Linden Leaves Synergy Body Oil is made by the founder itself, Ms. Brigit Blair. There were real dried lavenders, roses, strawberries and tamrillo on the desk.
And since the event has not started yet and I was pretty hungry, I quickly grab some food to munch on. Look what's prepared for us!
Hungry already? AHAHA! The pretty flowers is not edible la of course LOL. I took a picture of it cuz it looks really beautiful. The sandwiches taste really really good too. And so I walked around the theSkintopic store and found some beauty products that intrigues me.
These Wild Ferns Manuka Honey range looks really sweet and yummy! Wanted to test them out but I was a bit shy so nevermind la hahaha. And after I scrutinize the place for a while, the event then officially started with a speech of welcome and gratification from the Executive Director of theSkintopic, Mr. Frederick Loh with special appearances of Chairman & Founder of Linden Leaves, Ms Brigit Blair.
Ms Blair gives a speech or two and started on her demonstration of the infamous Synergy Body Oil and explains the infusion between the real dried fruits and organic rosehip and avocado oils.
Sugar, spice and everything nice~ Ms Blair making magic with the perfect ingredients!

After the live and thorough demonstration, there were several other bloggers and medias who volunteered to make the Synergy Body Oils with the guidance of Ms Brigit Blair. Not long after, there was also a session of lucky draw.
Congratulations to the winners of the lucky draw! *sobs* Although I was not lucky enough to be selected for the lucky draw, but at least I did not go home with empty hands. Remember the door gift I received earlier? Let's take a look what's inside!
Now I know that theSkintopic's products are made 100% in New Zealand; focusing on natural skincare, bath & body products and fragrance diffusers. These are some of the stuffs I found in the bag:
One small-sized bottle of Linden Leaves Synergy Body Oil. When I saw the slice of mandarin in it, I was really excited because I extremely love citrus fruits. Can't wait to give this a try and know it's aftereffect :D
|There's also a sample of Linden Leaves skincare. (top to bottom) Regenerating Elixir, Clay Cleansing Masque and Radiant Exfoliating Wash.|
|Booklets of ranges available in theSkintopic. (left to right) Olive & Tebe, Wild Ferns, Linden Leaves and Evolu.|
Last but not least, five RM10 vouchers! Once again, thank you The Butterfly Project for the invite! And before I log off, here's one selfie of my look to theSkintopic's First Anniversary event
